PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate exchanging work of a stamp head. SOLUTION: This hot stamping apparatus is constituted in such a way that a hot stamp foil and an added value medium are placed between a receiving base and the stamp head 3 heated by a heater and they are transferred while a pressure is applied. In addition, this apparatus is provided with a relay base 32 for connecting the heater 2 with a hot stamping apparatus main body 31, a lead wire for connecting the heater 2 with the relay base 32, a gimbal mechanism 15 for holding the stamp head 3 and the heater 2, a bracket 16 for supporting the gimbal mechanism 15 and the relay base 32 and removable to the hot stamping apparatus main body 31, and a connector 33 fixed on the bracket 16 and connecting the hot stamping apparatus main body 31 with the relay base 32 accompanied with mounting the bracket 16 on the hot stamping apparatus main body 31.
