PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thick-thin latent crimping polyester conjugated fiber which scarcely has quality irregularity (fuzzes) and has desired whiteness. SOLUTION: This polyester conjugated fiber is produced by adhering two polyesters having mutually different intrinsic viscosities in a side-by-side type, and has large fineness portions and small fineness portions in the longitudinal direction of the fiber, fuzzes in a rate of≤0.1fuzz/10<SP>6</SP>m, and a difference (L*-b*) of≥80 between the color L* value and the color b* value measured as the cylindrical net knitted fabric of the fiber.
