PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide photographic sensitive material excellent in storage stability and little in black spot and fog. SOLUTION: The silver halide photographic sensitive material having at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer on a support, is characterized in that the silver halide emulsion layer contains a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic mercapto compound having a hydrophilic group, a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic mercapto compound not having a hydrophilic group and a polymeric latex.
