PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure high reliability information recording by constructing a device to be thinner and improving impact resistance. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a base substrate 110 supporting as magnetic head, a suspension part 114 in which a base end part is fixed to the base substrate and a magnetic head slider 114e is fixed to a tip part, and an adapter 130 supported to the base substrate so as to be able to slide and provided so as to surround the base substrate. Also, at the time of loading, an adapter is shifted to a load position and a magnetic head slider is dropped on a magneto-optical disk by pressing force by the suspension part, at the time of unloading, the adapter is shifted to an unload position and one part of the suspension part is pulled in the adapter, and unload attitude of the magnetic head is held in an almost horizontal state of the suspension part.
