<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the generation of NO<SB>X</SB>by increasing exhaust gas recirculation quantity in an exhaust gas recirculation single type heat accumulation burner. <P>SOLUTION: Fuel gas and pilot air are discharged from the tip of a fuel gas discharge part 16 inserted into a radiant tube 9, and combustion air is supplied from an intake and exhaust port 18 to burn the fuel gas. The exhaust gas is discharged from the intake and exhaust port 18, and combustion air is preheated with the heat of the exhaust gas in a heat accumulator 12 to enhance the heat efficiency. The exhaust gas ia partially mixed to the combustion air and recirculated into the radiant tube 9. The combustion air is throttled by a first throttle member 19 and delivered to the whole circumference of the fuel gas discharge part 16, whereby the short pass to exhaust side of the fuel gas is prevented. A second throttle member 24 is provided to throttle the combustion gas and also turn the flow of the exhaust gas to the tip side of the fuel gas discharge part 16, and an exhaust gas recirculation passage 23 is provided, whereby the recirculation quantity of the exhaust gas is increased to reduce the generation of NO<SB>X</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
