<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branched polyethylene oxide-synthetic polymer block copolymer which has a good anti-thrombogenic property and can easily be produced, to provide a molded article containing the copolymer, and provide a molded article coated with the copolymer. <P>SOLUTION: This branched polyethylene oxide-synthetic polymer block copolymer is obtained by synthesizing a segment originated from a branched polyethylene oxide and then binding the segment to a segment originated from a synthetic polymer. The branched polyethylene oxide is obtained by polyaddition-reacting linear polyethylene oxide having a weight-average mol. wt. of 400 to 20,000 converted into polystyrene, a three to ten hydroxy group-having compound having a weight-average mol. wt. of 90 to 20,000 converted into polystyrene, and a diisocyanate compound.
