GARBAGE DECOMPOSING APPARATUS TO BE FIT TO SINK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage decomposing apparatus for a sink which is used for decomposing the garbage flowing together with waste water and with which the garbage accumulated in a garbage collecting container arranged in the sink can be decomposed without taking the garbage out point by point. SOLUTION: The garbage collecting container 1 is fit to the lower part of a draining port rotatably so that the garbage mixed in waste water can be collected. A decomposing vessel 2 is arranged under the container 1 for housing the garbage falling from the container 1. A plurality of agitation blades 25 are arranged in the vessel 2 for agitating the housed garbage. An air sending port 27 is arranged for sending warm air into the vessel 2. A ventilation passage 28 communicates with a drainpipe 19 downstream from an S trap 24 for discharging a bad smell generated in the vessel 2 to the outside. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
