PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throttle control device reducing the number of components and its assembling processes. SOLUTION: A throttle valve 2 for opening and closing an air-intake passage 1a formed on a throttle body TB by its turn, is driven by a motor 4, and the amount of sucked air flowing in the air-intake passage 1a is controlled by opening and closing the throttle valve 2. A gear mechanism 35 accommodated in a gear accommodating chamber 19 formed on the throttle body TB and including a counter gear 14 for transmitting the driving force of the motor 4 to the throttle valve 2, is mounted. A counter shaft 34 rotatably supporting the counter gear 14 is composed of the combination of shaft half parts 34a, 34b respectively integrally formed on both opposite wall faces of the gear accommodating chamber 19.
