PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorption type high temperature regenerator with a structurally narrow combustion zone width, and an absorption type water cooler-heater having it. SOLUTION: The high temperature regenerator is characterized in that it includes a plurality of combustion chambers, a liquid pipe group vertically arranged in the combustion chambers, and a distribution chamber capable of independently supplying a gaseous mixture to the plurality of combustion chambers. By this, the high temperature regenerator can independently and variably form flame in the combustion chambers, and it has a structurally narrow width. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
