PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake band for preventing early abrasion and generation of an abnormal sound of a clutch drum of a centrifugal clutch: and to provide a mower for preventing the early abrasion and the generation of the abnormal sound of the clutch drum. SOLUTION: This brake band 28 for braking the centrifugal clutch forms a curved belt shape so as to be arranged along an outer peripheral surface 26a of the clutch drum 26 of the centrifugal clutch 22, and is fastened or loosened to the outer peripheral surface 26a by moving end parts 28a and 28b. A lining 38 is mutually separately arranged in a plurality in the lengthwise direction of he brake band 28 on the inside surface side opposed to the outer peripheral surface 26a of the clutch drum 26.
