PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod which can smoothly transmit a power from a fishing line to the rod without inhibiting the flexure of the tip section and has a member that can easily be attached and is used for guiding the fishing line. SOLUTION: This fishing rod is characterized by mounting coil members 10 continuously alternately comprising fixed portions 12 and coil portions 11 on the circumferential surface of the tip section 3 of the fishing rod, attaching the portions 12 fixed to the circumferential surface of the tip section 3 with winding cords 13, and disposing the coil portions 11 at a constant distance from the circumferential surface of the tip section 3.
