<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous secondary battery superior in high-temperature cycle characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: This is the non-aqueous secondary battery which of a positive electrode that contains a positive electrode active material containing a lithium manganese compound oxide of a spinel structure, a negative electrode that contains a negative electrode active material which stores and releases reversibly lithium ion, and a non-aqueous electrolyte. Since the particle surface of the lithium manganese compound oxide used as the positive electrode active material is coated by MgO or a hydrotalcite compounds, the moisture and HF in the electrolyte are effectively removed, thereby the non-aqueous secondary battery superior in high-temperature preservation characteristics can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
