<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve reduction of vibration and leveling of operating hours of each compressor when driving multiple compressors by one motor. <P>SOLUTION: At least three or more compressors 15A-15F are each driven through clutches 16 by the motor 10, intermittence of each of the clutches 16 are controlled according to the necessary flow amount of discharged fluid, and the number of compressors connected to the motor 10 is successively increased. The compressor with the least operating hours is the first to be connected to the motor 10, the next compressor to be connected is the compressor positioned symmetrically with the one selected immediately before, or if there is no compressor in that position, then the compressor with the least operating hours of the remaining compressors is selected, and this is repeated. After several compressors are selected, the compressor having the least operating hours at the time and a compressor in its symmetrical position may be selected simultaneously. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
