PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of connecting an electric motor to a common control substrate even when the mounting position of the electric motor is different. SOLUTION: A first connection part 34 and a second connection part 35 to which a motor terminal 41 of the electric motor 4 is connected are provided on the control substrate 31. The first connection part 34 and the second connection part 35 are provided at the symmetrical position relative to the axial direction of a steering shaft, and the first connection part 34 is located at the front side of the vehicle from the second connection part 35. The electric motor 4 applied to a vehicle with a left hand side steering wheel is connected to the first connection part 34, and the electric motor 4 applied to a vehicle with a right hand side steering wheel is connected to the second connection part 35.
