PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the instability of a thin structure information processing device due to the dislocation of the center of gravity when the image display part of the device is tilted and to reduce the area of the stand. SOLUTION: A part of the stand, i.e., an auxiliary base plate 302 or the image display part is mounted slidably in the back and forth direction. Further, a tilt mechanism driving part 201 is tilted accompanying the tilt of the image display part in the back and forth direction, the turning motion of the tilt is transformed into a linear motion by using gears 301, 701 and 702 or the like, a part of the stand, i.e., the auxiliary base plate 302 or the image display part is slid in the back and forth direction. Thus, the position of the overall center of gravity is always kept at the center of a stand base 203 even when the image display part is tilted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
