PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a module cooling system having an evaporator, a condenser, a compressor, and an expander fluidly connected by a plurality of passages. SOLUTION: In the modular refrigeration system, an evaporator, a condenser, an expansion device, and a compressor are attached to an integrally formed base plate. A compressor mount is formed in the base plate, and it has at least one integrally formed stud bolt extending from the base plate. The compressor has at least one attachment flange, and the stud bolt is received in the attachment flange. A fastener is affixed to the stud for securing the compressor to the base plate. To collect condensate, a drain pan is formed in the base plate beneath the compressor. A drain basin is provided beneath the evaporator, and the drain basin is fluidly connected to the drain pan via a trough. Condensate from the evaporator is drains to the drain pan, and it is evaporated there. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
