PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throttle control device preventing the lowering of suction efficiency while reducing the the suction noise generated when a throttle valve is suddenly opened from its fully-closed state. SOLUTION: A throttle shaft 3 is rotatably mounted across an air-intake passage 1a, on a throttle body 1. The throttle valve 10 opening and closing the air-intake passage 1a by its rotation, is fixed to the throttle shaft 3. The amount of sucked air flowing in the air-intake passage 1a is controlled by opening and closing the throttle valve 10. A commutating fin 18 for dividing the sucked air flow is mounted only at a surface side faced to the sucked air flow at a downstream valve halve part 14 of the throttle valve 10.
