PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing back-up material for a receiver of a sealing material set as a fire-resisting material in common in the joint of an exterior wall of a building and improve the workability of joint execution. SOLUTION: The sealing back-up material 1 is an extrusion-molded product made of a resin or rubber formed in a reverse glass-shaped section by narrowing an opening 1a. In a manufacturing process after extrusion molding, a fire-resisting material 2 made of silicone sponge rubber is pushed in and set from the opening 1a into the sealing back-up material 1. In the execution of the joint structure, after the sealing up the material 1 in which a fire-resisting material is built in is pushed in the joint 14, a sealing material 11 is filled.
