PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease scorch of cooked rice when the rice is cooked by employing a long time reservation mode, in a rice cooker which has a rice cooking reservation function. SOLUTION: The present time is judged by a present time recognition means 2a, a rice cooking reservation time is set by a reservation time setting means 3, and a reserved rice-cooking operation for cooking rice at an designated time is controlled by a controlling means 10 which has a first cooking completion temperature 2b and a second cooking completion temperature 2c that is lower than the first cooking completion temperature 2b. In the reserved rice-cooking operation, the controlling means 10 stops the rice cooking when an inputted temperature inputted from a temperature detecting means 4 for detecting the temperature of a pot 1 for housing an object to be heated reaches the second cooking completion temperature 2c.
