PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massaging unit with which a user can massage his/her arm or leg sections while the sections are stably held. SOLUTION: The massaging unit 10 is provided with recessed sections 20, each of which is formed between two facing side walls and has an opened top face and opened front and rear ends, and side-face air bags 30 which are fitted to the side faces of the side walls and can be expanded and contracted. When the user puts his/her arm or leg sections in the recessed sections 20, this unit 10 massages the arm or leg sections by repeatedly expanding and contracting the air bags 30. The side-face air bags 30 are arranged only to one side faces 22 of the side walls. On the bottom faces of the recessed sections 20, acupressure units 42 which are made to frequently appear and disappear by an acupressure unit drive means are arranged and the arm or leg sections of the user are massaged by making the units 42 frequently appear and disappear by operating the drive means in a state where the arm or leg sections are sandwiched between the air bags 30 and the side wall faces 24 not arranged with the air bags 30 by expanding the bags 30.
