PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiuse chair having functions of serving as a chair for dining, a chair for studying and a chair for resting and effectively used in a narrow space by attaching importance to the height of the backrest and the reclining function. SOLUTION: The front end of the backrest/seat part 2 is connected and pivoted at the upper end of the seat part 1, the front end of the backrest/seat part support coupling, where a rear leg part and a rear end are connected and pivoted, is connected and pivoted at the intermediate part of the backrest/seat part 2, the backrest part lower part is connected and pivoted at the backrest/seat part rear end, and the rear end of a backrest support coupling 5 whose front end is connected and pivoted to the front part of a backrest/seat part support coupling 4 is connected and pivoted to the lower part of the backrest part positioned in the lower part of the connecting and pivoted position.
