PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure high washing performance while reducing a noise during a washing operation. SOLUTION: A pump motor is driven at a lower speed (a revolving speed at 2300rpm) while water in a washing chamber is heated by a heater, and the pump motor is driven at a high-speed (a revolving speed at 2700rpm) for one minute, respectively, when the water temperature increases to 40°C and 50°C. When the water temperature reaches 58°C, the water is kept at the constant temperature, and the washing operation is finished after performing a high-speed operation for one minute, a low speed operation for three minutes, and the high-speed operation for one minute. Since the revolving speed at the low-speed operation is set within 70-90% of that of the high speed operation, a dishwasher removes mainly proteins at 40°C, the proteins and animal fats at 50°C, and oils, fats, and starches at 58°C by the water hitting the whole dishes during the low speed operation and by the water of a flow strong enough to reach cups placed on a cup mount rack of a dish basket during the high speed operation.
