<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data communication method for minimizing a stall term in a network or a telecommunication. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes transmitting a control message specifying a loss of non-delivered data by a transmitter before time-up of a timer. The non-delivered data may contain at least one data packet, and the at least one non-delivered data packet is specified by the control message. The control message may contain a field specifying the non-delivered data packet and/or a positive response sequence number, may contain a packet data unit having a dummy payload and/or zero payload, transmits to a receiver that the transmitter aborts transmission and/or re-transmission of the non-delivered data packet, and may transmit it to the receiver via the same data channel as a data channel used for transmitting data packets, and also via a different channel as another method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
