GLASSWARE WITH SERIAL NUMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide glassware with a serial number which improves working efficiency for forming the serial number on glass, forms the serial number on the glass thereof and facilitates a product control. SOLUTION: The glassware 100 with the serial number consists of multiple glass and has a pair of plate glass sheets 110 and 120 so opposed as to form a hollow layer 140 between them by the medium of columnar pillars 150 as spacers. The outer peripheral edge parts of the paired plate glass sheets 110 and 120 are joined airtightly by a seal frame 130 which is fluidified at a low temperature and further a frame 160 is fitted on the periphery thereof. On the surface of the plate glass sheet 110, a mark 210 and the serial number 220 are formed by a laser beam between a seal plug 180 and the short side of the glass sheet 110 in immediate proximity to the seal plug 180.
