PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a continuous disorder-free image even if reception is temporarily broken when image data saved by using an image compression technology are displayed. SOLUTION: In a system comprising a transmitting device 10 and a display device 20, the transmitting device 10 sends image data compressed by using the image compression technology to the display device 20. The display device receives and displays the data; and a reference image is stored when the image is decoded and if communication is broken, the image is displayed on a screen. When the communication is restarted, data communication begins with the image. Consequently, the image is not disordered during the break and when the communication is restarted, there is no disorder on the screen. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
