PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow melting device for a snow guard type roof, with improved snow melting efficiency by melting the snow by dividing the accumulation of snow into a plurality of zones without damaging and breaking a hot water circulation pipe mounted on the roof by the load of the accumulation of snow, and with improved safety by preventing the dropping of snow from the roof. SOLUTION: This meandering hot water circulation pipe mounted on the lateral roofing is covered with an aluminum heat dissipation cover 11. A plurality of fixing brackets 21 mounted at predetermined intervals on each of a plurality of lateral seams constituting the roof, are respectively composed of a fixing tool body 22 biting the lateral seam, and a cover holding member 29 lowerably engaged with the fixing tool body 22 and pressing the heat dissipation cover 11 from its upper part. An inner face of the heat dissipation cover 11 serves as a pipe contact face 12D closely kept into contact with an outer face of the hot water circulation pipe 1, and its outer face is coated with a far infrared ray radiation coating material.
