PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve user's satisfaction by making it possible to freely set a shutter sound of a mobile telephone set with an imaging function. SOLUTION: In the information transmission and reception system 100, the CPU 11 of the mobile telephone set 1 receives audio data from an information providing device 3 by a radio communication part 14 and stores it in a storage part 15. Further, the CPU 11 sets audio data selected with input from an input part 12 as a shutter sound and stores the setting contents in the storage part 15. Furthermore, the CPU 11 once detecting a shutter key of the input part 12 being pressed makes a photography part 17 take a picture and reads the audio data set as the shutter sound out of the storage part 15 to output a sound by a speaker of a handset part 16.
