PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reliability for avoidance of a crack accompanying laminating a sheet to become an insulating layer in the case of manufacturing a laminated electronic component and to particularly approach a through hole shape formed by irradiating with a laser in the laminated electronic component using a ceramic layer as the insulating layer, to a straight shape. SOLUTION: A laminated ceramic capacitor 10 is obtained by laminating a plurality of electrode layers 24 on a ceramic. The ceramic layer interposed between the laminated layers 24 functions as the insulating layer between the electrodes, has a thick ceramic layer 23 having a large thickness at a substantially central position of the electrode layer, and has a thin ceramic layer 22 as a dielectric of the opposed electrode layer 23 at the other position. A method for manufacturing the capacitor includes the steps of laminating a plurality of ceramic green sheets 22a each having the electrode layer 23, then superposing a thick ceramic green sheet 23a having a thickness of a margin in the extension of the sheet, and again a plurality of the ceramic green sheets 22a are laminated on the sheet 23a.
