PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching device with a key inputted easily and without fear of short-circuiting. SOLUTION: A spacer 3 is interposed between an upper film 1 and a lower film 2, and a gap is formed with a spacer hole 4 fitted to the spacer 3. Contacts 5, 6 are fitted so as to face each other on the upper and lower films facing the gap, and a keytop 7 is arranged on the contact part through a click rubber 8 with a circle-shaped bottom face. The shape of a spacer hole 4 is polygonal. By making the spacer hole 4 polygonal, the click rubber 8 is free from falling even if the spacer hole 4 is made somewhat larger in size and avoids a short circuit. Further, by making the size of the space hole 4 larger, contact pressure can be made smaller to realize an excellent key input. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
