OPTICAL DISK RECORDING AND REPRODUCING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk recording and reproducing method which can performing reproduction at high speed in the optical disk recording and reproducing device performing CAV reproduction. SOLUTION: This method has a step 102 in which a recording track being recordable positioned at the most outer periphery of an optical disk medium is grasped, and a step 104 in which a recording start position of information of which the recording finish position is a recording track position grasped in the step 102 and the recording is required by a user is calculated. Thereby, information of which the recording is required by a user is recorded in an outer periphery part of the optical disk medium. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
