PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique suitable for energy recovery from normal-pressure/high-temperature gas. SOLUTION: In this turbine system, a combustor 12 is disposed at a front stage of a turbine 16 of turbomachinery whose turbine 16 is connected with compressors 20, 24 by a shaft. Working fluid passes through the turbine 16 and compressors 20, 24 in this order to generate shaft output. Further, this turbine system comprises: a regenerating heat exchanger 14 for cooling high temperature working gas from the turbine 16 by mixing the working gas with exhaust gas to heat the mixture, and heat-exchanging the mixture with air humidified by hot water; coolers 22, 26 for cooling the working gas by heat-exchanging the working gas with water at an inlet of the compressor and between the compressors 20, 24; and a humidifier 30 for mixing air with part of exhaust gas from the compressor 24 to heat the mixture, and humidifying the mixture by using hot water generated by the heat exchange with working gas in the coolers 22, 26. In this turbine system, mixed gas from the humidifier 30 is introduced to the regenerating heat exchanger 14 to be preheated by heat exchange with the high temperature working gas at an outlet of the turbine 16, and the preheated high-temperature/humid mixed gas is introduced in the combustor 12.
