PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an identification marking method in a plate material processing machine wherein letter printing work is certainly performed in a less oil state without damaging productivity of plate material processing, and also to provide its device. SOLUTION: Before the work is carried toward the plate material processing machine 1 in the X direction by a loader 77 disposed in a work carrying-in device 73, the work is placed on a material carrying-in table 69 moving in the Y direction orthogonal to the X direction under the loader 77. The material carrying-in table 69 is moved in the Y direction and the loader 77 is moved in the X direction, thereby performing identification marking on the work on the material carrying-in table 69 using a letter printing device 89 mounted to the loader 77. Printing is applied to the work in the less oil state before the plate material processing, so that the letter printing work is certainly performed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
