PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost device for recovering oil containing solid substances capable of preventing the solid substances from being accumulated on a scraper. SOLUTION: The device 10 for recovering the oil containing solid substances is provided with a liquid tank 24 in which the oil containing solid substances floats; a circulating belt 16, with a part immersed in liquid in the liquid tank 24 and the other part exposed out of the liquid, adsorbing the oil containing solid substances floating in the liquid tank 24 and transporting it out of the liquid; the scraper 18 slidably in contact with the circulating belt 16 outside the liquid, scraping away the oil containing solid substances adsorbed on the circulating belt 16; a means oscillatably supporting the scraper 18, and a means provided between the scraper 18 and the circulating belt 16 or between the scraper 18 and a roller 12 for the circulating belt 16, raising and dropping the end part of the scraper 18 by circulating motion of the circulating belt 16 to generate a dropping impact.
