PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge tube-mounted structure with an electric circuit that inhibits decrease in impedance of the discharge tube even when deposits are deposited, an extremely easily assembled ozone generator with high mass-production efficiency and an inverter circuit for applying an optimum high-frequency voltage for a required amount of ozone. SOLUTION: In the discharge tube-mounted structure, hollow box parts made of an insulator are vertically installed on right and left ends of an insulating plate; two unipolar, gas-filled discharge tubes are placed close to and almost parallel to each other with their electrodes positioned at opposite ends; the ends of the discharge tubes on which the electrodes are installed are housed in the hollow box parts through grooves or holes formed on the walls of the hollow box parts; and the other ends with no electrode are positioned outside the hollow box part. The structure yields the ozone generator. The inverter circuit is obtained by making a kickback voltage inside the inverter circuit adjustable. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
