<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device which reduces noise generated by vibration of a carriage. <P>SOLUTION: The recording device has on a printer driver for transferring printing data, a selecting means for performing low noise printing, and a holding means for arranging a paper to be recorded to be the center of a recording paper transfer means.
