<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the manufacture of an optical pickup device by simplifying the structure of the optical pickup device. <P>SOLUTION: The optical pickup device 1 is furnished with a light source holder 3 wherein a laser beam source 30 is fixed, a collimator lens 4, a frame supporting the collimator lens 4, and an objective lens 5. A semispherical recessed part 220 recessed so as to have its center on an optical axis of the collimator lens 4 is arranged at a part of the frame 2 abutted on the light source holder 3. The light source holder 3 is furnished with a semispherically shaped projected part 31 engaged with the recessed part 220 so as to freely rock and a through-hole part 33 having the center axis almost coaxial with the optical axis. The laser beam source 30 is fixed on the through-hole part 33 while the emitting point is coincided with a center P of the recessed part 220. The light source holder 3 and the frame 2 are joinable by three or more machine screws 6, ∼. Coil springs 61 for pressing the light source holder 3 to the side of the collimator lens 4 are interposed between head parts 60 of the machine screws 6 and the light source holder 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
