PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient and effective method and a device to prepare a transplantable substrate.

SOLUTION: The device includes a reservoir 22' with an inlet 22 and an outlet 20 to hold a liquid selectively, a container 12 to hold the liquid-permeable and transplantable substrate which is porous and biocompatible, and a drive mechanism 14 connected to the container 12 and the reservoir 22', which works to put a prescribed pressuure on a certain liquid in the reservoir 22' to create a selected and controlled flow rate of the liquid to pass through the container 12.
