<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that in an existing lighting implement for vehicle making a front face lens transparent, light distribution characteristics are formed on a main reflection surface becoming a deep position, light is shaded with an extension or the like, and sufficient irradiation width in the right and left direction is not obtained. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting implement 1 for vehicle is formed in such a way that an ellipsoid system reflection surface 5 in which a first focal point f1 is set in the vicinity of a light source 2 is installed in a position upper than the light source 2 on a main reflection surface 3, and a paraboloid system reflection surface 6 having a focal point in the vicinity of a second focal point f2 of the ellipsoid system reflection surface 5 and having an optical axis in the diagonal front direction is installed between the front lens 4 and the light source 2 in almost the frond direction of the light source 2. Installation in the front is made possible by relaying light on the ellipsoid system reflection surface 5, and the necessary and sufficient irradiation width is obtained by the paraboloid system reflection surface 6 capable of installing sideways. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
