<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting fixture for a vehicle having a simple circuit configuration and functioning as two sorts of lamps having different lightness such as a tail lamp, a stop lamp, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting fixture for the vehicle is equipped with a light source emitting light in accordance with the given voltage, a light source controlling transistor which controls the electric power supplied to the light source by changing over repetitively between the power to be supplied to the light source or not, a capacitor in which one end is grounded and the potential at the other end varies in the form of sawteeth with charging and discharging, a capacitor controlling transistor to control the timings at which the charge and discharge of the capacitor are changed over, and a comparator part which compares the potential at the other end of the capacitor with the given reference potential and controls the on-off timings of the two transistors synchronously on the basis of the result from comparison. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
