<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticket inspection system that enables a person to check whether to board a train just before boarding it. <P>SOLUTION: Gates 50 and barrier walls 60 are installed on a platform 30 in correspondence with doors 40 of cars 20. The gate 50 is connected via gate controlling means with a ticket inspection system having determining means, reading means and train information storing means. Train information in a ticket read by the reading means and train information managed by the ticket inspection system are compared, and if the determination is that the ticket is valid, the gate 50 is controlled to permit passage of a passenger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
