<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially stretched polyester film suitable for forming a desired oxygen gas barrier layer by a CVD method or a PECVD method, excellent in film taking-up characteristics and manufacturing/processing characteristics and having high glossiness and high transparency. <P>SOLUTION: The biaxially stretched polyester film comprises a base layer B, which is composed of 80% or more of a thermoplastic polyester, and outer layers A and C, which comprise a thermoplastic resin, and the acrylate-containing layer D laminated on the surface of the outer layer C. The outer layer A does not contain added particles substantially and the surface thereof is flat and the outer layer C contains added particles. The surface of the outer layer C is characterized by formulae; A<SB>h1</SB>-B<SB>h1</SB>x log<SB>10</SB>h≤log<SB>10</SB>N<SB>c</SB>, and 0.01(μm)≤h≤1(μm) (wherein A<SB>h1</SB>is 0.05 and B<SB>h1</SB>is 3.3), when the number of projections per 1 mm<SP>2</SP>is set to N<SB>c</SB>, and the height of projections is set to h(μm). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
