PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an optimum operation of a liquid cooler performable. SOLUTION: The control system is provided with a plurality of liquid coolers, a master controller, and a plurality of secondary controllers respectively connected to the liquid coolers and the master controller. The control system stores a British Thermal Unit (BTU) table including a predetermined high load limit parameter and a predetermined low load limit parameter changing on the basis of the number of operating liquid coolers. The master controller determines an appropriate number of liquid coolers to be operated by comparing an actual load of the operating liquid coolers at a point of time with the high load limit parameter and/or low load limit parameter. And it judges whether it is necessary to switch on or off power of the liquid cooler via the secondary controller by evaluating the number of operating liquid coolers at the point of time. By this, since load control of cooled liquid production is carried out by using the BTU table, the optimum operation of the liquid cooler is made possible. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
