PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating device for an internal combustion engine for feeding lubricating oil dropping and staying on the bottom of a crank case to a lubricating oil tank via an oil cooler with a collecting pump and supplying the lubricating oil from the lubricating oil tank to various portions of the internal combustion engine via an oil filter. SOLUTION: The lubricating device for the internal combustion engine has lubricating oil collecting oil passages 85, 61d, 61e, 21a, 21b, 21c, 14, 21g through which the lubricating oil dropping and staying on the bottom of the crank case after lubricating the portions of the internal combustion engine 20 is fed to the lubricating oil tank 70 via the oil cooler 14 with the collecting pump 61. Furthermore, it has lubricating oil supply oil passages 67j, 62d, 62e, 21j, 65a, 64, 65b, 68b, 65f through which the lubricating oil is supplied from the lubricating oil tank 70 to the portions 28, 57 of the internal combustion engine requiring lubrication and cooling via the oil filter 64 with a supply pump 62. A branch passage 21i is formed branching from the lubricating oil collecting passage 21g ranging from the oil cooler 14 to the lubricating oil tank 70, through which the lubricating oil is supplied to at least one of the portions of the internal combustion engine.
