PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage of gas between a flat gasket part and a metal plate part, in structure wherein one component having an intake passage is fastened to the other component having an intake passage by bolts through a flat gasket and a metal plate interposed between the components. SOLUTION: The flat gasket 15 and metal plate 16 are interposed between a joint face 6 of one component 1 having the intake passage 3 and a joint face 10a of the other component 2 having the intake passage 9. A plurality of bolt insertion holes 8 are formed in one component 1 in contact with the flat gasket 15. A plurality of nuts 11 corresponding to the plurality of bolt insertion holes 8 are disposed to the joint face 10a of the other component 2 in contact with the metal plate 16. Each bolt is inserted into the bolt insertion hole 8 and screwed into and fastened to the nut 11 through the flat gasket 15 and metal plate 16. A projection 14 is formed on the joint face 10a of the other component 2 at an intermediate portion of neighboring nuts 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
