PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dustproof structure of a rotary shaft of excellent durability which is capable of reliably preventing ingress of dust or the like with a simple structure. SOLUTION: A rotary shaft 4 having the outside diameter smaller than the inside diameter of a through-hole 2 is passed through the through-hole 2 formed in a bulkhead 1 with a space 3 therebetween. A blower 5 is fitted to a tip of the rotary shaft 4, and a suction fan 6 is fitted at the position facing the blower 5 across the bulkhead 1 of the rotary shaft 4. A pulley 7 is fitted to a base end portion of the rotary shaft 4, and a belt 10 is stretched between a pulley 9 fitted to a rotary shaft 8a of a motor 8 and the pulley 7. A cylindrical fan cover 12 having the inside diameter slightly larger than the outside diameter of the suction fan 6 is disposed concentrically with the rotary shaft 4 around the suction fan 6.
