PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna for a mobile body for transmitting / receiving a wireless signal of a comparatively longer wavelength. SOLUTION: The antenna 20 is connected and supported between first and second parts 12-1, 12-2 of a guardrail via an insulator 204. The total length of a vertical part and a horizontal part of an antenna element 220 is made about 1/4 of a signal wavelengthλof a wireless signal going to be transmitted / received for example. The antenna element 220 acts like a kind of an inverted-L antenna from the shape and the length of the element and efficiently transmits / receives the wireless signal being tuned to the wireless signal.
