PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refuse storage and discharge device capable of being installed if there is a space for installing the refuse storage and discharge device even if a space for parking a refuse collection vehicle cannot be ensured and discharging and storing refuge into the refuse collection vehicle. SOLUTION: In this refuse storage and discharge device in which the refuse is charged into a storage tank 1 through a charging port 2 for storage and is discharged through a discharge port 5 by a discharge device 4 provided in the storage tank 1, the storage tank 1 is provided on a side crossing the direction of refuse discharge of the discharge device 4 so as to move and be arranged freely. One end part of a swing arm 7 is connected with the storage tank 1, and the other end part of the swing arm 7 is oscillatably supported centered on a horizontal shaft member 8 supported in the same direction as the direction of refuse discharge of the discharge device 4 so that the storage tank 1 is arranged by overhanging onto a side due to swing of the swing arm 7 freely.
