PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a common structure for vertical/lateral opening of a back door for a vehicle capable of commonly using a door inner panel for a vertical opening specification and a lateral opening specification without increasing manufacturing costs. SOLUTION: When a back door is made for a lateral opening specification, an expected allowance 16a' expecting a deformation volume of a door inner panel due to a reaction force of a weather strip is added to an outer peripheral flange part 3a of a door inner panel 3 for a vertical opening specification.
