PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle lightening load on the movement in the vehicle using an assist seat capable of assisting an occupant's sitting or leaving action. SOLUTION: A bus 1 is equipped with a getting on/off area 5 at the side of the vehicle body and the assist seat 20 capable of assisting sitting or leaving action in a visible range of a person who gets on from the getting on/off area seeing the traveling direction. The person who gets on the bus 1 from the getting on/off area 5 can visually recognize the assist seat 20 and the position of the assist seat 20 is easily confirmed only by seeing the traveling direction. The moving distance to the assist seat is set shorter. Additionally, since the sitting or leaving action is assisted with the assist seat 20, these actions become easy. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
