PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat device for a vehicle capable of suppressing a rise of the hip point on the seat body side and mounting easily a load sensor which requires a comparatively wide space for installation. SOLUTION: The seat device for the vehicle is equipped with a seat body 11 on which an occupant is seated, a seat slide rail 12 whereby the seat body 11 is installed on the floor panel 2 and which supports it movably relative to the floor panel 2, and a load sensor 13 installed between the slide rail 12 and the floor panel 2 for sensing the load applied to the seat 2, wherein the mating part of the floor panel 2 to the load sensor 13 is formed as a recess 9 facing down, and the load sensor 13 is installed in the recess 9.
